Back at it and better than ever!

OK so this week started my new fitness routine! LOL My brother and his better half are helping me this time, so I think I will be able to stick with it! and believe me they are not being nice! It is like having my own Jillian and Bob! Only my brother would be Jillian cause my Sis-in-law is a little nicer! LOL but they have me really working! I have set a goal for myself! I want to be able to do the Warrior  Dash in September. We shall see!!!! I need to take new before and after pics ( although really I don't think much has changed since my first before pics! LOL I will have to see. I am sore, so I know I am doing something, I have lost a little, but I am NOT making friends with the scale! It is just a number and I will not let it define me! For now I am going to leave you with the photo below. Sometimes it is about reminding yourself everyday why you are doing it! FOR A BETTER HEALTHIER YOU! Right!?

FINALLY!!!!

I have neglected to get on here and blog about the daily grind of the whole weight loss thing! LOL I did take measurements and weight on Monday and I had LOST! WHOO HOO!!!! from my starting weight it is not a huge loss BUT from last week and the fact that I gained a little it makes it look alot better!
so here goes ( and I am not really sure these are correct, my hubby did them for me, but he did the starting ones too)
WEIGHT: 244.6 ( that is 2.2 down from starting!)
Neck: 15  (15.25 start)
Bust: 47.5 (48.5 start)
Waist: 45.5 (45 start)
Hips: 52.75 (52 start)
Thighs: 27 ( 28 start)

So as you can see I am doing something! LOL

Today I am really sore, I went to work out at a gym with a friend Tuesday, and i think I MAY have over done it! since I have not been to a gym in ohhhhhhh 15 years! LOL I did 15 min elliptical, 15 min stationary bike ( while watching a movie which made it really easy!) a few reps of ab crunches, assisted  pull ups, some tricep curls and some inner and outer thigh work, leg lifts, and a few more that I cant remember, but yeah my legs are ok, but my armpit and chest are sore, Guess I don't use those muscles! LOL BUT I really did like it, and hope that I can get a gym membership!!! although I don't think it is going to be at the gym I went to with my friend ( which would help me push myself  I think) just because of the fact we don't wont to have to sign a contract! SO my hubby and I are looking into other options, he is behind me on this though! he knows I really want to do this, and even if I do have to go alone, I am going to do this, I will just put on my ipod and not look at anyone! LOL I can do it! and I WILL do it!!! even though I am hurting a little today, It felt SOOOOOOOOO good to work out! it really did!

it is so hard

to stay on track when you have your birthday dinner and it is like a bazillion calories, then your sweet hubby and kiddos get you cake, you cant just say ummm I am not going to eat that! LOL so yes I had my cake and ate it too! SO WHAT! I went over on my calorie count on my birthday! GET OVER IT! that's what I have to keep telling myself! LOL things of been a bit hectic here and I have neglected posting things on the blog pertaining to my weight loss and such! but MONDAY is another weigh in and HOPEFULLY things will continue to go the way they have been going this week ( with the exception of my birthday) and my weight will be down! One can hope right!

In other news, here are a few updated pics of the kiddos for those who care! LOL

Presley is getting so big! walking all over the place and babbling about everything! she loves to say MORE! to EVERY type of food YOU have! LOL and Bray is doing really good in school!!! So proud of my big boy! and he has a birthday coming up!!! HE will be 5 in exactly one month! AHHHHH LOL where has the time gone! I have to get this party planned and invitations mailed! WOW I am slacking big time!!!!

not so motivated...

at this moment in time, I truly am not! I did my weekly weigh in today and GAINED 3 pounds! under on my calories EVERYDAY! exercised every other day! and I GAINED! It is a little disconcerting! BUT I am not going to give up, like I have in the past, I am just going to push myself that much harder, right?! Right! And who knows maybe next week I will have lost those three pounds PLUS more! I am going to do this if it kills me! and It may just do that! I was thinking about trying insanity! LOL yep the same about sums it up, if I do it I must be insane! For some reason I am not able to post my photos tonight I do not know what is up with that? so I shall "see" you all tomorrow! Goodnight!

I Have NOT given up...

I have not been able to get on to blog for the past few days, with a sick Lil one and a whiny bigger one, things have just been so crazy! I do not have any new screenshots to share at this time, I will get back to getting those up tomorrow! and Tomorrow is a big day, its my first weekly weigh in since blogging has started! I am very happy to say that I have been under on my calorie count EVERY day! even last night, with having a few drinks! Drinking your calories is BAD! BUT my birthday is Wednesday and I wanted to have a little fun! Plus the line dancing was GREAT exercise! I love doing it! but like I said, sick kiddos so I must run, my poor little princess is just not her happy cheerful self and I do not like that!

Day 4 and still going

Well this is day 4, I didn't eat lunch today, but that's probably a good thing considering my dinner. Not that I tried to skip lunch, I just had a rough day with a sick Lil one who has been clinging to me all day. and still is, so this is really all you get for today, and nope no exercise, I suck! hopefully she will be feeling better tomorrow so I can get back to it.

Day 3 ( better late than never)

So here we are day 3, OK I admit, I am not doing so great in the eating good department, I AM staying under on calories allowed but I am not doing good in managing them as far as what I am eating. I plan on doing a little grocery shopping this weekend or today even, to get some things that I need to help me maintain healthy eating and snacking habits.


I missed getting on here last night to post this, not because I was lazy, or didn't want to, my hubby was using the computer to file our taxed! To me that was an important task i was not about to ask him to stop! LOL

so without further adu, here are my screenshots from yesterday



I must say that I was really proud of myself yesterday, I doesn't show it on here, but I did a 4 mile bike ride yesterday!!!! FOUR MILES!!!!! (I will have to take a photo with my phone I suppose, lets see if that will work. nope didn't work, I will try and take a photo right after I get done tracking to have a record of it.) I had to keep giving myself a pep talk to keep going! LOL yes I am a strange one! When ever I would want to quit because My legs were hurting and feeling heavy, I kept telling myself "it is going to be worth it! you can do this! not much further and you will be done for the day! Keep pushing you can do it!" and I guess that helped!  I NEVER stopped! I did skip a peddle or two along the way on the way back, but I NEVER STOPPED and that made me proud...now today my legs feel like lead, but hey I got thru yesterday, and I will have to figure out an exercises or something to do today! I can NOT skip! I must keep moving forward!!!

Well, I have a sick little one year old today, with a fever of 103 so I MUST get off here and baby my baby! I will hopefully be back tonight to blog about the day's activities. so until then.....

Day 2

OK, so today I did not do such a great job at keeping to my diet, I mean I didn't go over on my calories, but I did eat at at Chinese buffet!  I did however only have one plate so it was not like I use to do it, and go back several times for more! so that is good, right? I have not worked out much today so I did not count it in myfitnesspal since I only did a little walking, I didnt really thing that it merrited counting. Here is my screenshot from my food diary from today.

End of Day 1

OK this is how I did today food and exercise wise, I could have done better with the exercising but I just ran out of time, I know that is no excuse! Tomorrow will have to be better! On a happier note, I was however under on my calorie count! WHOO HOO!!!!! here are some screenshots from my myfitnesspal.com.

OK so Here we go, Day one of my long journey to get fit and stay fit! and I have talked myself into posting before photos! yes I know I am crazy! I am a person is is very self conscious about my looks, especially my weight, and I hate to think that people could possibly be talking about me in a negative way, BUT I also feel that for me to really CHANGE, I NEED to do this! I have several ideas to help motivate me along the way in my weight loss, but this is one of the main outlets for that, so here goes...

My Stats to start are:
Starting weight : 246.8
Neck: 15.25
Bust: 48.5
Waist : 45
Hips: 52
thighs (r and l) 28

and the end all be all, my starting photos, I tried to find the most unflattering clothing I possibly could so that the photos for after would be better comparable. so here they are a front view and a side view.


Well, there you have it, proof that I am the walrus! LOL Hey I am aloud to pick on myself right!?

It is TIME...

...to make a change! I have decided that I am tired of slacking off on this whole diet and exercise thing! I really want to make a huge change in my life! I want to be a great role model for my kids! I don't want them to see this overweight unhappy person! It is not healthy for me or for them! I have been on this up and down roller coaster ride for a while, but in the past few months I have been doing really well and lost 17 pounds! AWESOME right?! not so much, I mean, YES it is great, but not the fact that it took me so long to do it, the scales go up and down and up and down, this time I want them to go down ONLY! SO what I have talked myself into, is a Change in Me Blog so to speak, this blog will not only be about the kids and how they are doing, but about my journey on this change. I will be held accountable to blog more, and will be held accountable by YOU I hope to keep pushing thru when I feel like all is lost and I am not seeing the changes, and not feeling like working out. Can I do that? can I count on you?  I will make a post later on today or at the latest  Monday, with my starting weight, and measurements, and blog what I have done thru the day, such as exercise and what I have eaten. I will also try and get up some screenshots from my myfitnesspal app. I have been using this app for the past few months to help me track my calorie intake and to log my exercises,  and for support. I am sad to say while I will still be using it for my tracking, it seems that most of the people I was counting on for support have all given up on me, not to say they really have, but The daily comments and encouragement are what really kept me going! and I have not had that the past 2 months on there. I know people get busy and such, but I feel that I need that, since I am they type of person who hates to let someone down. So look forward to more blog posts on this weight loss journey! I will also, of course be posting photos and and updates of the kiddos and such!
