Getting Ready for a Vacation!

So, Today is Monday July 25th! That means that tomorrow we start to head out for our little vacation! Boy I forgot how much stuff you have to pack when you take a baby! LOL

Before we head out tomorrow, Presley has to go to the Dr. for her 9 month check up!!!! Yep that's right 9 months ALREADY! AHHHHHHHHHHHH I can't believe it! She is getting so big so fast! Not sure how I let myself plan a long car ride the same day as her Dr. appointment knowing she would be getting some shots! Not great planning on my part! Hopefully she will not be too fussy! Her being 9 months also means her FIRST BIRTHDAY is fast approaching! She is almost 1! I can NOT believe that she is almost 1!!!! It is not fair! she is growing up WAY to fast! I love this lil girl!!!! She is turning into such a sweet lil girl! Everyone is amazed that she is so happy ALL THE TIME! But she is ! It is CRAZY! She has 2 bottom teeth now, and 4 on the top that are pushing thru, 2 have broken the skin and the other two are just hanging out under the skin all swollen! She refuses to crawl like most kids, she is a super fast and efficient army crawler though! she gets where she wants to go and can crawl under things and get back out without slamming her head into them! LOL she is pulling up! she will pull up and stand in her bed, but doesn't try to walk yet! THANK GOODNESS! LOL  Here is a recent picture of her.

And Brayden, boy what am I going to do with Brayden! LOL  This boy is a bundle of untame-able  energy! He just goes and goes and goes til he crashes! He has had some issues with being a little brat here lately but he never had the terrible twos, so I get a double dose with the Fearsome Fours as I call it! We went to a "Pre-K Express" event this past weekend to gets some items for him for Pre-K and to hopefully get him in! I really want him to go to Pre-K and not for the same reason as most parents that were at this event (free babysitting!!!) I want him to go to get the jump start he needs for school! He needs the structure, and the skills that school can offer! I want him to be really prepared for school!  Aside from that, he is doing really well, He loves to go swimming, and when he really tries and doesn't play he can do pretty good! We have not had any ear infections since he got tubes put in! YAY!!!!  He is my handsome lil man, with those curls and big blue eyes! I say he is the devil in disguise! LOL  He is super excited about going to the beach! He wants to " build a sandcastle, knock it down, build another one, bury me and Presley in the sand, go in the ocean, get seashells, chase the birds and fly a kite" LOL well he has it all planned out doesn't he!? LOL Here is a pic of him...he makes it hard to snag one of him by himself! He likes to take them with Presley though!

Now I am off to get packed for our trip! I have to pack Brayden's things clothing and such, and can NOT forget his ear plugs and swimming cap ( we plan on taking him to his first water park!) then gotta get Presley packed, lots of diapers, baby food, formula, and clothing! LOTS! , and then to get myself and my husband packed ( although he will help with that)! and I can NOT forget to clear pics off my sd card, and back them up in several spots! I would DIE if I lost any of my pictures!  and remember to bring my charger for the camera, I know we will be taking LOTS of pics! LOTS! we are going to try and take Brayden to a zoo where you can feed the Giraffes!!!!! Well, thats how were Duren! how bout you!?!?! We shall talk to you later!

Ok, so lets see, it has been a bit since I posted in here, I keep forgetting I started this thing! LOL  I started this for a reason, but those two reasons ( the kids) keep me to busy to write! That along with me trying to get a business going...Princess Presley's Bowtique, AND trying to get some Photography stuff going!

Well Presley is 8 months old now, has 2 teeth, is crawling all over kingdom come, and is hard to keep up with, says Momma, Dadda, and Bye Bye pretty often, jabbers alot in there too, but I dunno what those mean! We cloth diaper at home, and when she goes to church we use the disposable, I am LOVING my cloth diapers! I honestly did not think I would but I do!  I can not believe how big she is getting now! It amazes me that she is already 8 months old! October seem like it was just last month, if that! She is super inquisitive! Ok so here is an updated picture of her, my little princess. (who is also one of my models! for photography and for my bows)

And Next I give you Brayden, my 4 year old little Prince Charming in a devil disguise! LOL he has been getting in to his fair share of trouble here of late! He does NOT want to listen, and has issues with listening to his Sunday School teachers, just last week he hit one! Those poor ladies put up with a lot! I fee for them, well all of them but one! who had the NERVE to tell me that I should consider putting him in some sort of therapy or counseling for his anger! Really?? all because he told her No he did not want to wait his turn! Ok really lady, REALLY?? he is FOUR! get over it! ughh but at least he does not have her as a teacher anymore, she is moving and is thru teaching. We have been trying to get him into the Free pre-school program here at Kingsbury ( since he goes there for speech and LOVES his teacher Ms. DUFF) but due to his scores being too high, he has been put on a waiting list, so we wont know if he can get in until after school starts, and someone doesn't show up. Aside from that, he is doing pretty good with his speech and I have FINALLY gotten him to sit down with me and work on some school work, not daily but I am working on it, he has a very short attention span, which is another reason I was hoping to get him in school, I think he needs the structure, and I think it would help him with his attitude! I hope! He is really into Cars, and Toy Story, LOVES to play outside, that boy give give Forrest Gump a run for his money on the whole RUNNING thing!  LOL  He likes Baseball and Basketball! I am hoping to get him in some sports programs soon thru a church, ours doesn't offer anything right now, we are pretty small.  But here is an updated photo of him, my little Prince ( who also does some modeling for me for both my little projects I am working on)

SO that's basically it in a nutshell for now, I promise to get on here more often and post more! I will be posting some of my bows, and some photos and what not. I want to get better at it all! I would love to also loose a TON of weight, so I will be posting about that too!

Time to get this started I suppose...

Well, Here we go, thought this would be a great outlet for things and a great way to share out little family with everyone! I am Lisa, the mom! LOL My husband Will, is a hardworking man! He works very hard to provide for our little family! I am truly lucky to have such a great guy! He works EXTRA hard, so that I don't have to! He does this, because he knows that I want to stay at home and raise our kids, I didn't want someone else to do it! I love spending every waking moment with my kids! ( well most of the time, it gets a little rough trying to go to the bathroom or take a bath and having little ones come in the bath room EVERY TIME! LOL) but I would not change it for the world! I have always dreamed of being a mom, I think I was meant to be a mom! I spent most of my teenage years babysitting, and LOVED it! I have also recently gotten back into going to church on a regular basis. I have missed this in the years that I wasn't going, I new I needed to, I wanted to, just didn't want to be judged! But I LOVE Leawood! and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pastor Brother Marc, he and his wife Annie are wonderful people, ALL the people there are wonderful! It is so great to know that I have such a great group of people in my corner! They were there for us when our house burnt down, no questions! just there to help! Along with some other great friends of mine that I have never actually Met Face to face, but they are a great group of women, that I know I can turn to for anything, and they know they can do the same!

Ok ok, enough about me and the hubby, what about the kids!?? Brayden is 4 now,  he is into so many things! Cars, Trains, Planes, Toy story, but mostly he is just a hyper little boy! LOL he is always on the go, no slowing him down! In December he had Tubes put in his ears, which has made a HUGE difference in so many areas. ( except for actually LISTENING to what he is told! LOL) He is going to speech, and we can see SOME change, but he has not been going for long. We are hoping to get him in Pre-school this August, we shall see. And then there is Presley, our newest addition, she is 7 months old as of yesterday! cant believe she is already so big! ALWAYS happy! gotta get to planing that big birthday party for her first birthday!
